SURFACE MATICS
ADF Auger Washers are ideal for high volume operations for parts with blind holes or those that require turning, tumbling, or movement for proper cleaning of all surfaces. Auger washers are manufactured to order because part volume, size, and cycle time dictate the proper size of this equipment.

They feature large open hoppers for easy feeding of the parts from pans, conveyors, or chutes and a chip drawer with the mesh screen to collect chips and dirt.

Auger Washers are built with any combination of wash, rinse, and blow-off cycles with other accessories and options available to provide operator and maintenance convenience.

The Model 800  Top Load style washer, remains one of the more popular models in the ADF Line.  Because of it's size, versatility and portability it is well suited for a variety of cleaning applications.  This washer is used extensively in work cell type applications.

The basket is vinyl coated for protection of machine surfaces and precision parts and can be adapted to hold all types of parts.  If it is required that a part be positioned or fixtured for proper cleaning, the standard basket can be used or it can be removed and a custom built fixture or basket used in it's place.  The standard or custom baskets can be interchangeable because of the removable feature.

Construction of this washer is for heavy duty and continuous operations and utilizes 304 stainless steel for the spray chamber and reservoir tank.

There are a variety of options available for the washer, including drying, rinsing, oil skimming and a variety of electronic controls.  By choosing the proper option, you can tailor the washer for your requirements.

Filtration of the wash solution is standard with this model, including a primary 100 micron felt blanket filter and a secondary cartridge system.  With ratings of 3, 5, 10, 25 and 50 micron, the customer can choose the proper cartridge for his requirements.

Simplicity is another feature of the Model 800.  The operator places the parts in the basket, closes the lid and activates the push button start switch.  For higher volume applications and better ergonomics, an air operated lid option is available.  At the completion of the cleaning cycle, the operator can open the lid, remove the parts and start the process over again.  If the unit is equipped with the optional air lid, the lid automatically opens at the end of the cleaning cycle.

Safety features are included for the washer and the operator.  All ADF Washers are equipped with a safety switch so the machine pump is shut down if the machine  is opened during operation.  All controls are fused 115 volt with electrical panels located for operator convenience.

This washer is not what it appears to be. It is not a sandblaster, but a high pressure, glove box style, parts washer. Because it is a manual type operation, it is one of the most versatile washers available.

The operator simply puts the part in the washer through the side door and washes the parts by manipulating the part and the wand with his hands through the gloves. The washer is activated with a foot switch. High pressure spray can be put into ports, cavities or directly sprayed on the part, for high pressure cleaning. With the ability to put the nozzle directly at the part, the full 3 GPM at 500 PSI force can be pin pointed to a small area on the part.

The wash solution passes through a 100 micron felt filter before returning to the reservoir and also passes through a high pressure filter between the pump and the nozzle. Therefore, dirt, chips and other contaminates are removed from the solution during every cycle. The washer has an extensive accessory list such as rinsing, oil skimming and others.

This washer is being used in a variety of applications including tool rooms, maintenance operations, low production and precision cleaning situations.
